London, UK; On September 27, Vantage Airport Group and Future Travel Experience (FTE) announced Vantage’s membership in the FTE Startup Hub as a Corporate Partner. Vantage joins the likes of JetBlue Technology Ventures, Gatwick Airport, WOW air, Hamad International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport as a member of the pioneering startup-focused platform. An industry-leading airport investor, manager and developer, Vantage has worked with 31 airports around the world in its 24-year history.
The FTE Startup Hub, launched in early 2018, makes it as easy as possible for corporate innovators and startups/scaleups in the air transport sector to connect with one another, engage in meaningful discussions, and lay the foundations for future collaboration.
It consists of three core pillars: a comprehensive online database of the most relevant startups and scaleups in the air transport sector; FTE Startup Hub Live Days, which include startup pitch sessions and one-to-one meetings between Corporate Partners and startups/scaleups; and the Corporate Partners Innovation Network, which is designed to promote year-round knowledge-sharing between members.
Wes Porter, Vice President, Innovation, Vantage Airport Group, said: “Vantage Airport Group is pleased to join the FTE Startup Hub, alongside a handful of companies leading the accelerated transformation of the air transport industry now underway.
“The FTE Startup Hub is a promising platform for Vantage to explore innovative solutions, as we continue to evolve and deliver an exceptional customer journey across our network of airports, no matter where it begins or ends.”
Ryan Ghee, Head of Strategy, Engagement & Content, Future Travel Experience, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Vantage Airport Group on board as an FTE Startup Hub Corporate Partner and we look forward to playing an important role in helping them identify and engage with the very best startups and scaleups in the air transport ecosystem.
“We were pleased to hear that Vantage met a number of solid prospects at the recent FTE Startup Hub Live Day in Las Vegas. We now turn our attention to the next Startup Hub event, which will take place in Singapore this November alongside FTE Asia EXPO 2018, where we look forward to introducing Vantage and our other Corporate Partners to the leading startups and scaleups from across Asia and beyond.”
For Corporate Partners, such as airlines, airports and established industry suppliers, membership of the FTE Startup Hub comes with a number of benefits, including access to the industry’s leading online repository of the most relevant startups and scaleups; entry to dedicated FTE Startup Hub Live Days; complimentary delegate passes to FTE’s acclaimed conferences and expos; and access to a unique ecosystem of like-minded Corporate Partners.
Startups and scaleups can list their company profile on the online FTE Startup Hub repository for free and also have complimentary access to a number of additional benefits.
