A message from George Casey, Vantage Airport Group Chair & CEO

I want to recognize the recent shocking and emotional events in the United States following the killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless other victims of racism. The continued discrimination, racial violence and inequality against people of color across the U.S. and around the world cannot continue. I would like to remind each of you that as a community, there is no place at Vantage for racism or discrimination against any group in any form.

This crisis is going to require us to think longer and harder about what this means for our organization and the communities we serve. It reminds us to consider what additional steps we can take to address these issues. We know that some of our team members have been directly impacted by these events and together we will continue to support their needs during this time.

For over 25 years, Vantage has been anchored by the profound and unique talent of our people. You are what makes this organization so successful. We will continue to build on our deep-rooted efforts to ensure we create places where every employee and passenger we serve is welcomed, respected, valued and above all, safe.

Vantage is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, and to supporting growth and independence in our communities. We have been involved in MWBE (Minority- and Women- Owned Business Enterprise) and ACDBE (Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) and other community programs and seek to increase participation and grow these partnerships at our U.S. airports. And going forward, we will continue to develop resources to help engage in productive conversation and to take meaningful action, both individually and collectively.

As a society, we are facing many challenging events, including the ongoing pandemic. But there are also opportunities to come together as a team, constructively listen to points of view, address challenges, and celebrate progress, all while remaining hopeful.

We remain an organization that is stronger together as a network and broader community.

Please take care of yourselves and your families as we work together to navigate these challenging times.

Sharing my hopes for peace, safety and respect for all.

Regards,

George
